Leasource Overview

History

Leasource Financial Services, Inc. (LFS) is in the business of financing equipment for business, municipal and federal entities. Since its inception in 1984 the company has developed a strong relationship with both vendors of all types of equipment and commerical lease brokers who represent vendors and end users in their geographical region. In general, the average amount financed ranges in size from $20,000.00 to approximatley $2,500,000.00 with many transactions exceeding this level. The municipal and federal market is responsible for an ever-growing volume of activity.

Municipal and Commercial Transactions

Geographically, the company has the capabilities of working in vitrually any domestic US market. As a source of business the company has concentrated on working with the vendor and lease broker community. Additional finance activity comes from existing lessees.

The equipment leasing community represents a very active source of business. Many lease companies don't have the capability of developing quality investor contracts for placement of their finance applications. This creates an opportunity for LFS to generate substantial volume from both municipal and commerical transactions.

Key to the development of quality relationships is the ability to provide a rapid response to requests. Traditionally, this has been one of Leasources' strong points. We typically have been able to provide a credit decision within one to two working days. This allows the client to effectively secure their transaction.

The Future

The future of the equipment leasing business is very strong. The economy in general is improving and this creates opportunities for lease/loan financing. Also, as tax revenues become more restricted in use, the market for leasing increases within the municipal marketplace.
